¼” Minus is a crushed rock product that contains superfine rock powder and angular rocks no larger than ¼”. The fine rock powder, “fines”, allow the gravel to compact better than crushed rock products that do not have fines. ¼” Minus can be compacted to create a base for pavers or flagstone. It can also be compacted to create a firm surface for a walkway or trail.
